Hi, I’m Liam! If you’ve stumbled onto this little corner of the internet, chances are you’re a parent staring down a family vacation and wondering how on earth you’re going to pull it off with small kids in tow. I’ve been exactly there — standing in an airport with a toddler on my hip, a car seat under one arm, and a completely overpacked carry-on threatening to burst open.
Tiny Family Travels was born out of that chaos. After years of dragging our kids to theme parks, beach resorts, national parks, and international destinations, I started writing down everything we learned the hard way — so other families don’t have to.
Our Family
We’re a family of four based in Canada. My partner and I have two kids who have been on planes since they were babies, which means we’ve battle-tested pretty much every tip and strategy on this blog ourselves. Some of it worked beautifully. Some of it was a complete disaster. You’ll find both on these pages, because honest travel content is the only kind worth reading.
What You’ll Find Here
- Destination guides written specifically for families with young children
- Honest hotel and resort reviews including what the glossy photos don’t show
- Budget travel tips for families who want to travel more without spending more
- Packing lists and gear guides tested on real trips with real kids
- Theme park strategy so you actually enjoy the day instead of just surviving it
My Travel Philosophy
I believe families should not have to wait until the kids are older to see the world. Yes, traveling with little ones is harder. Yes, there will be meltdowns and missed naps and days where everything goes sideways. But watching your child experience something new — their first ocean, their first mountain, their face when they see a castle for real — is worth every single difficult moment.
The goal of this blog is simple: to help your family travel more, stress less, and create memories that outlast any souvenir. I’m so glad you’re here.
Have a question or a destination you’d love to see covered? Send me a message — I read every single one.
